High lustre mirror finish that enhances the natural colour and veining of the stone. The most popular finish for premium interior flooring, wall cladding, and feature surfaces. Maximises visual impact and brings out the full depth and movement of the material.
Smooth matte finish with no shine. Produces a refined, understated surface preferred for bathrooms, commercial flooring, and worktops where glare or slip risk from a polished surface is a consideration. Maintains the natural colour of the stone without the reflective quality.
Textured rustic surface created by mechanical hammering. Produces a naturally aged, weathered appearance with an irregular surface that provides good slip resistance. Widely specified for exterior paving, feature walls, and applications where a traditional or textural aesthetic is required.
Lightly textured surface with a soft sheen produced by a brushing process. A contemporary alternative to polished for interior use - less reflective than polished but with more warmth than honed. Popular for flooring, wall surfaces, and worktops in modern residential and commercial interiors.
Fine surface texture with a frosted, crystalline appearance produced by a controlled abrasive process. Suited to exterior and anti-slip applications where a distinctive surface texture is required alongside functional performance. Also used in architectural cladding for a matt, stone-like visual effect.
Linear grooved surface texture produced by mechanical cutting. Creates a strong directional visual pattern well suited to architectural cladding and feature wall applications. Frequently specified in commercial and public building projects where a structured surface treatment is required.
Fine-grained textured surface produced by high-pressure abrasive blasting. Results in a uniform, slightly rough surface with good anti-slip properties. Suited to exterior use, outdoor paving, and any application where a practical, low-maintenance surface with natural stone aesthetics is required.
Surface treated with acid to produce a natural, slightly etched appearance that softens the stone's surface while retaining its natural colour and character. Popular for exterior facades and flooring where a weathered, antique aesthetic is desired. Also used as an alternative to honed for a more characterful matt surface.
All finishes are applied to the stone before despatch and must be specified at the point of order. Not all finishes are available on all stone types - our trade team can confirm availability for your chosen material. Custom finish requirements and mixed-finish orders can be accommodated on larger contracts.
Polished, Honed, and Leather Finish are the most commonly specified options for interior flooring, wall cladding, and worktops. Polished delivers maximum visual impact; Honed and Leather offer more practical, lower-maintenance alternatives.
Brush Hammered, Sand Blast, Snow Flake, and Acid Finish are the preferred options for exterior paving, facades, and outdoor applications. These finishes provide natural slip resistance and weather well over time.
Flute Finish, Snow Flake, and Acid Finish are frequently used in architectural cladding and feature wall applications. Our trade team can advise on the most appropriate finish for specific architectural briefs and project requirements.
