Tiger Onyx is quarried in Pakistan and derives its name from the bold, high-contrast banding that defines its character - strong stripes of amber, gold, deep brown and cream run across the slab in a pattern that is immediately recognisable and unlike any other natural stone. The warm amber and gold tones are vibrant in polished applications, catching and reflecting light with considerable energy. The stone's natural translucency makes it one of the most dramatic onyx varieties for backlit installations: when illuminated from behind, each contrasting stripe is thrown into sharp relief, producing a feature panel of genuine visual intensity.
